Information we collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:

• identity and contact details, such as your name, billing and delivery address, email address and telephone number;
• order and transaction details, including products purchased, returns, refunds and payment status;
• payment-related information processed by Shopify and payment providers; Cercii does not store full payment-card details on its own systems;
• account details, preferences and customer-service communications;
• device and technical information, such as IP address, browser, device identifiers and security logs;
• website activity, cookie choices, viewed pages, interactions and referral information;
• marketing preferences and, where permitted, campaign interactions.

How we receive information

We receive information directly from you, automatically through the website and cookies, and from service providers such as Shopify, payment processors, analytics providers, advertising partners, customer-support tools, carriers and fulfilment partners.

Why we use information and our lawful bases

• To perform our contract: process payment, accept and fulfil orders, deliver goods, provide tracking, handle returns and respond about your order.

• Shopify, which hosts and operates the ecommerce platform;
• payment processors and fraud-prevention providers;
• suppliers, fulfilment centres, carriers and returns partners needed to deliver and manage orders;
• IT, hosting, analytics, customer-service and professional advisers;
• advertising or marketing providers where permitted and subject to your choices;
• authorities, regulators or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights;
• a buyer or successor in connection with a genuine business reorganisation, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising disclosures may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising under certain laws; where applicable, we provide the required choices.

International transfers

Because Cercii uses international service, fulfilment and technology providers, personal information may be processed outside the United Kingdom, European Economic Area or your country of residence. Where required, we use an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism. Order details are shared with an overseas fulfilment partner only to the extent needed to fulfil, deliver or return your order.

How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to fulfil orders, provide customer service, maintain legally required tax and accounting records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and enforce agreements. Different categories have different retention periods. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
